Recent research from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare found that almost 60,000 over-15s are hospitalised due to a sports injury every year. Much is being done in the injury prevention arena, but what happens when a patient presents to you with a sporting injury?
Presented by Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr Matthew Liptak and Dr James McLean. Dr Liptak will share recent footage of ACL reconstructive surgery using the Contralateral quads tendon technique. Dr McLean will discuss shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist injuries and share interesting case studies. Collectively, the doctors will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries for the best possible patient outcomes.
