Since returning he has devoted himself exclusively to foot and ankle, including the ongoing supervision of an Australian Orthopaedic Association Fellowship in which he trains surgeons in foot and ankle techniques.

Dr George Dracopoulos has attended the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Comprehensive Foot & Ankle Course (Chicago) and the Advanced Foot & Ankle Course (New York). He is a former Government appointed medical representative on the Podiatry Board of South Australia (1997-2006) and current member of both the Australian and American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Societies.
